Describing it as a “whirlwind” of long shifts and challenging days, she acknowledged that each experience strengthened her love for the profession. “Nursing isn’t just a job for me; it’s a calling that pushes me to be better, stronger, and more compassionate,” she shared.
Throughout her career, Tanasha Wyckoff has found herself deeply impacted by her patients, learning from each individual she cares for. These interactions, she noted, have taught her resilience, empathy, and perseverance—qualities that ground her even on the hardest days.
Her travel nursing assignments have taken her to some of the nation’s top hospitals, exposing her to unique experiences and new friendships at every stop. Now, as she prepares to join Baylor University’s Family Nurse Practitioner PhD program, Tanasha views this next step as a milestone in her commitment to healthcare and personal growth.
Expressing her gratitude, Tanasha shared, “Through every challenge, God has been with me, guiding me and giving me strength. I’m thankful for the support of everyone who has walked alongside me and excited for the difference I hope to make in healthcare.
